Decks

Deck Board Repair

King of Prussia, PA

The Owner's deck was roughly 60% rotted. With decks, we will always do an evaluation where we tear up some boards to check on the structural integrity, ensuring that all repairs quoted are NECESSARY. After 2 days of work, the deck was ready to paint.

Deck Joist Repair

Collegeville, PA

The homeowner had rotten deck joists as the deck was built 25-30 years ago. Instead of quoting the deck to be fully demolished and rebuilt, we were able to find all the rotten joists and side joists (due to a lack of flashing and a not level surface), and not only replace all the rotten components, but add flashing so that the deck will have as little risk of water damage in the future.

Repairs

Door Frame + Weatherstrip

Philadelphia, PA

Homeowner stated that the weatherstripping was broken and the door trim was broken and rotted as well. The initial quote ended up being reduced, due to the discovery of NO rot, which is great! The broken wood shavings were extracted, filled with putty, and painted. The existing caulk was not good, so after a recaulk and repaint, as well as installing a new weatherstrip, all was well with this repair.

Concrete Block Wall Repair

Philadelphia, Pa

The owner needed this concrete block wall fence repaired after it was blown over in a storm. We finished the job in less than half a day, cleaning the entire site to make it cleaner than when we arrived. As the grout sets, the structure's strength will increase.

Repairs

Bathtub Caulk

Eagleville, PA

The previous caulk had a bunch of gunk and goo. We scraped it all out, ensured that everything around it was dry, and recaulked to give the bathroom a nice, less gross-looking caulk line.

Drywall

Door Cover

Philadelphia, Pa

The homeowner simply wanted this door covered by a wall. We were able to finish this job in less than 2 hours. Smooth and level finish, it was ready to be painted! At the request of the homeowner, we didn't rip the door out and frame a wall in its place as they wanted to have the door there for a future balcony down the line.

Handrail Installation

Philadelphia, Pa

A railing was needed here to comply with local code. After a quick installation, a railing now exists! We ran into an unexpected turn of events when there were no studs and only a section of brick wall behind it, but we made it work by maneuvering the anchors to be only behind the brick sections, resulting in a strong handrail.
